Our trip to Big Bend was full of birds we had never seen.  These gorgeous Mexican Blue Jays were very typical Blue Jays.  Very aggressive and demanding for peanuts.  The woke us every day sitting on the porch railing and chanting till we came out and fed them.

 This year for Christmas, the Zoo put up a brand new lights display.  I was amazing!   We got to go to Patrons Night while McKinley was in town for Thanksgiving.   The "treats" area was especially cute, with the Macaroons having a very special place in my heart.

 As the new year begins, we start really looking forward to our upcoming trip to Australia.
