 Last year we took an amazing trip to California.   Yosemite was definitely one of the highlights.  We arrived in the mid afternoon and thought we would just drive around and get our bearings.   There were lots of people there and parking was very limited.   We did talk to a ranger and found out there was a tram tour of the park that sounded great.  So we stopped at the Lodge and got our tickets.  On the way out we found a place to pull over and get pics of El Capitan and Horsetail falls.

 Trips to the zoo and always really special for me, but the birth of our third baby elephant makes it super fun.  The two one years old are so curious and won't leave the new baby alone!

I think every one has been to a zoo at least once in your life and have some majestic wild animals, or maybe you have even been on an African safari and have seen some wild animals in their natural habitat. Either way seeing Elephants, Giraffe's, zebra's, Lions, Tigers and Rhino's must have impressed you.

 Our trip to Dallas/Big Bend was amazing!

This is from our first night at Big Bend.  We had dinner at the Lodge restaurant and watched the sunset thru "The Window".

On April 27 it is King's Day in The Netherlands and because Orange is the Dutch national color Ilonka made this new collection with Orange as the main color. The lion also is a Dutch national symbol, so it had to be part of this collection.

 Back to our Maritime trip last fall.   This is from our hike on the Middle Head trail on Cape Breton Island, NS.  One of the prettiest trails we've seen.
