Early post today...got a hockey game and a race to watch!

Day 182 - Chinese Theme dinner

This is the first of our 4 theme dinners...they were such a great time.

Day 180 & 181 St Pats and Tim's Bday

Mom loved serving dinner on St Pats...she would make a vat of Corned Beef and Cabbage and 2 or 3 loaves of Soda Bread.   Mom had no Irish blood in her, but in her mind, she was full blooded Irish.

Tim loved the movie ET and that was the theme for his 8th Birthday.  We went to see the movie 3 times!

Day 179 Easter

Day 178 - G&G's bdays

We had Grandma's at my house and Grandpa's at Judy's apartment.  Pictures were in tough shape!

day 177 - Gee 9th Bday

Both kids loved the Smurfs, so Gee's cake this year was Smurfette.

Christmas presents!   Meant to post this yesterday!

Day 171 & 172 Christmas

We begin with an early Christmas with G&G since they were off to DC to spend Christmas with John and Beth.

Then to stocking and the Liberty family first (of many) sleep overs on Christmas Eve.   Jim and Jeff stayed up all night putting the "santa" presents together for Gee and Tim.  The kids' PJs are ET and Smurfette...

Day 169 &170 Halloween and MLA's 30th Bday

They were such a cute pair this Halloween.

I love the kids' face when I'm opening what must be their card...so excited!  The quality of these bday pics leaves alot to be desired!  They were very faded and yellowed...I must really be old!

Day 168 - Tims football

Tim played football this year, but didn't really like it...baseball was his thing!

Day 166 - Back home and off to School - Franklin Elementary

This was a computer magnet school the kids were bused to...awesome year.   Check out Tim's "floods" and Jennifer's knickers.

day 165 Yellowstone

This was the last of the many national parks we visited...after such a long trip with so much scenery, this was pretty anti climactic.  

Day 164 Glacier National Park

Back in the US again.   Glacier is on the Montana/Alberta border.   Beautiful!  Kids' first time white water rafting.

Day 163 Musical Ride

After Banff, we headed to Calgary where we experienced the Mounties Musical Ride.   Awesome!

Day 162 Banff

Picture perfect little mountain town.   The kids loved riding so much we went again in Banff.

Day 161 Walking on the Ice Fields

These are so enormous...they extend all the way through to the other side of the rockies.

Day 160 Ice Fields Parkway

The highway between Jasper and Banff is called the Ice fields parkway.   I passed thru some of the most amazing scenic areas.   Waterfalls, Glaciers, lakes...beautiful!  The Glacier lakes have the most beautiful turquoise water due to the glacier deposits.

Day 159 Jasper Park

This is one of the prettiest places in the world!   The kids got to go on their first ever horseback ride.  They loved it!

Day 158 off to Jasper

After we left VJs, we headed to Jasper National park in the Canadian Rockies...Beautiful.  

Day 157 Edmonton

We spent 3 or 4 days at VJs...had a blast...never seen such big mosquitoes!  Had lots of Tim Horton doughnuts!

Day 156 - Next stop Moose Jaw and Saskatoon

Heading west...How can you not love these town names?
