Day 207 Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at G&Gs.   Great Grandma and Uncle Tom were supposed to be there, but got delayed in Chicago due to extreme cold.

On a very cold November day, with ice raining down, we headed to the hospital to meet the newest member of the Roach family

Day 202 & 203 Halloween and Dracula

Kids really loved halloween this year and then we went to see Jeff in the play "Dracula".   He was awesome.  The kids are pretending to push a stake into his heart.

Day 201 - Jumping in the leaves

Leaves was something we didn't have till we moved into our home  in Pepperwood.   We didn't like raking but the jumping was fun!

Day 197 - Vacation Mr Rushmore

On our last day, we crammed in a ton of stuff, including a drive along the needles highway and a stop at Mount Rushmore.

Day 196 More vacation

We had such a good time panning for gold at the Broken Boot Mine in Deadwood.   The kids were sure we were going to be very rich!   We also went to see boot hill where all the outlaws, including Wild Bill, were buried.

Day 194 & 195 More vacation

Wall Drug (corniest place on earth) and the surrounding Rapid City area.

Day 193 - Vacation - The Badlands in North Dakota

We couldn't afford the time or money to go on an extended vacation this year, due to the cost of moving into a new house, but we weren't about to not go on one at all!   A long weekend in the Black Hills was perfect.

Day 192 - New Orleans Dinner

This dinner was at Mike's.   Not sure why there is no picture of him.   The pic of Judy and Jeff was scanned by Grandpa, so the resolution is horrible, but still better than no pic at all.   Judy and Jeff had the best costume with Pimp and "Ho".

Day 190 & 191 Baseball

Both kids played baseball this year and loved it!   Judy and I had such a great time coaching the girls team...Except for the North Omaha YMCA game...we got killed and Judy filed a protest!

Day 189 - French theme dinner and House Construction

During most of this summer, we lived with Mom and Dad since our house was sold and our new one was not yet done.

We had our French dinner while we were there.

Every Monday night, we would go over to the construction site to see how it was coming.   It was really fun to watch it go up, each step of the way.

This year's ballet was a country song and a really sweet hoedown dance!   She and Annie practiced for hours and hours before the recital.

Day 184 Our Italian Theme dinner

This dinner was at Judy's appartment and featured Judy's best Lasagne.  One of my favorite pics of G&G.   The one of Tim and Jeff is also adorable!
